Study.  Yeah, that’s right. Study. Read, review and analyze class material so you know it. This takes time, effort class material so you know it. This takes time, effort and a quit place. If you learn how to study now, you’ll be way ahead before you even start college.

·         Ask for help if you’re having trouble. You may need to ask more than one person.

·         Have a special are for studying where you won’t be distracted.

·         Study in small “chunks” and take regular breaks. Try not to cram.

·         Have a regular study routine to make studying a habit.

·         Study with a friend or group and share information.

“What I would do to graduate from HIGH SCHOOL”

What I will do to graduate from high school I would always do what’s right and never give up or say that I can’t do it. Every time I go home my mom asks me how was school. I’m glad my mom is always asking me because I know that she cares about me and knows s I could do it. I would never give up or drop out of high school!! Ki wouldn’t give up because I want to be something in life when I grow up and achieve my goals on what I want to be. When I complete my dreams and goals I would do anything to help my mom and make her happy through all my life so she could be very proud of me. I would want to have a big house and a very nice car for me and my mom. I would do what it takes for me and my mom because she did everything for me without my dad because he left us. And I want to prove that you don’t always need your parents there so you could do what’s best for you all you need is courage and to belief on yourself.  And know that I know I could belief that I could graduate I hope I get in a very good college and to have that big house and fancy car for me and my mom. And when I get to college I hope I find the love of my life and be happy. And have some kids after I complete my goals and dreams. I know I could do it no matter what anyone says, I would never listen to anyone that says I can’t achieve anything.

Listen and ask question. Still afraid of looking stupid? Don’t  worry about it. If you’ve got a question about something, chances are your classmates do too.

·         Review your notes and assignments before class.

·         Give your teacher your full attention and concentrate on with is being said.

·         Relate the topic to what you already know and listen for main ideas.

·         Make eye contact with your teacher and take notes.

·         Ask questions if you don’t understand, but try not to interrupt your teacher. Raise your hand or wait until your teacher pauses or asks for questions.

CTW:purdue basketball players punished

Kelsey Barlow & D.J Byrd  are two young men who play basketball in college . they choose the wrong by being at  a bar and caused trouble and got kicked out. but one of the guys which his name is Kelsey Barlow got mad and caused more trouble and got kicked out of the team for choosing the wrong, but D.J only got suspended .

Reflection:i think what they did was wrong and should of thought before they did stupid things in the first place. if they don't want to get kicked out then they should of choose the right and not get in trouble. if i was them i would of choose the right and stay in the basketball team if i really loved playing.

Some experts say the difference between good students and poor students isn’t mainly ability. Instead, it’s how students organize themselves to use their abilities. A little organization can produce amazing results! Get organized:

ü  Have a homework agenda or scribbler to keep track of your assignments, and always carry it.

ü  Use scribblers to put your notes in, and keep them organized.

ü  Have phone numbers for classmates, especially of one who will be your “homework buddy” this is someone in your class who collects hand-outs and assignments for you when you are absent from school. You can borrow your buddy’s notes when you return to school, and you can do the same for this friend.

ü  Ask the teacher for some outside help when the classroom explanation is not adequate for you.

ü  Ask questions when you are unsure of something.

ü  Pay attention in class as it is very easy to let your mind wander. Take notes, concentrate on what is being said; it will be easier to absorb the information being presented.

ü  Keep your bookshelf, desk, and kitbag neat.

ü  Be prepared for each class, bringing the materials you need to class (including pencil and paper).
